Whenever we think of a hedgehog, 'cute' and 'tiny' are the words which come into our mind. But little do we all know about this tiny little creature. Hedgehogs are solitary animals and hence, they need special care. Taking care of them is not an easy task! Here are a few things to take into account before you decide to buy one.

1. Buying/Adopting a hedgehog :

First and foremost, before you run into any local store you know, that sells them, make sure you do a bit of research and get them from a store that has a Wobbly Hedgehog Certificate where they promise that your hedgie will not get the wobbly syndrome. Such hedgies are bred in a way where they are aren't prone to illness and helps them lead a longer life. Also, make sure that your hedgehog you are planning to buy is in pink of its health.

2. Solitary animals?

A male and a female hedgehog should come near ONLY IF they are properly treated. Uterine cancers and mammary tumors can all result from your hedgehog hanging onto her reproductive organs. These diseases can all be prevented by having an ovariohysterectomy performed on your female hedgie and neutering male hedgehogs at about 6-8 months of age.

3. Proper temperature :

Hedgehogs need a slightly warmer room temperature than most people keep their homes at, around 72ºF (22.2ºC) to 80ºF (26.6ºC). Installing a heat lamp in its cage is a must! Or otherwise your hedgie could get pneumonia which is lethal!

You've definitely found many dolls to have amazing suites, with originality and creativity. And in this post, you'll learn how to create a perfect suite that matches what you want!

Step 1: Find Inspiration

In order to create something creative, find inspiration! Go through dolls' suites, and check out some suites in the 'Video' section of the 'What's New' tab. You'll be amazed by the amount of results you'll find! Oh, and don't forget the YouTube videos; in fact, there are many tutorials of rooms. 

Step 2: Collect The Items

Now that you know what you really want to create (or re-create), buy your materials! I find this step important, so that you won't get mad in case you run out of money while you're in progress. Search for what you want between thousands of items, and don't hesitate to spend lots of money on your creation.

Step 3: Find a Room

Empty out a room you don't like, or you don't usually use. Find a room that has a perfect size, and in case you want some help, buy some interior design so you have a nice background. Want a solid color? Click the settings button in the 'Suite' tab and choose the color you like on the left side. If you have interior, it'll be available on the right side.

Step 4: Create The Room:

Now that you're all set, create your room! Take your time, and size, twist, move, and organize all your pieces to form whatever you like. You might find a nice bedroom an option, as landscape, a zoo, a magical land, etc. and finalize it with you dressed up in something cute or appropriate with the room itself.

And you're done! Have you ever created a very beautiful, magical room? I have, and as you can see in the picture, I create this forest/river area where I am having fun with different animals and insects!

Hey, dollies!

What's better than a delicious, fresh drink or a Ferrero Rocher home-made chocolate? Well, I bet your mouth's watering, so let's get straight with 2 recipes to try out!

~ Lemon-Mint Detox ~

You'll need:

x1 lemon

Handful of mint

x1 tsp of sugar (optional)

x1 tbsp honey

600ml water

How to create:

In a blender, add water, mint, lemon juice (squeezed already), sugar, and honey all together. Mix until all the ingredients are blended together. It's supposed to look like colored water with mint bits. Serve with ice and lemon slice. Viola! 

~ Ferrero Rocher Homemade Chocolate Bars ~

You'll need:

x5 tbsp Nutella

1 cup Kellogg's Corn flake (or Malt O' Meal corn flake which is what I used)

How to create:

In a bowl, add Nutella and corn flake. Mix until the corn flake are stuck to the nutella. Spread onto a plate and freeze in a freezer for 30 minutes or until it is dry to the touch. Cut into pieces and serve. For an even better touch, serve in big pieces and scoop vanilla ice cream on top! You can use it as a yummy cream/flavor when placed in its form without freezing between cake layers.

Summer is finally here!! With this, I wanted to do a super quick tutorial on an eyelook that I have been loving for the summertime! I made this makeup look by combining two of my favorite colors: orange and purple (thus the name: Orpul). 

For the top of the eyelid, I went with a sunset orange color. I started by using a base of peachy pink, and then adding a darker coral on the outer half of the eye. To make it more orangey, I used a yellow at the outmost corner to create the full gradient of color. 

To include the purple, I lined my waterline with a purple eyeliner, making my eyes pop even more and really bringing the look to another level of vibrancy. Make sure your lashes are loaded with mascara for this as well!

Ahhh, the smokey eye. Something we all strive for, but struggle to put together. With summer upon us, we often try to go for brighter, more vibrant colors on our eyelids. However, even in the summer time we can pull off this feat without making ourselves look too hot. 

First of all, make sure that your makeup is all water/sweatproof. The worst thing that can happen is you realizing that you have drippy raccoon eyes from your makeup! 

Start with priming your eyes. This makes the eyeshadow stay longer, and come off as more pigmented. For this look, I went with a light brown color. 

To really create the smokey effect, we want to work our way outward, putting increasingly less of the darkest color on the outer corners of our eyes. On the outer half of your eyes, add a slightly darker brown. 

To make this a more summer-esque look, I added an orangey red color on the extreme outer corner, to add a slight pop of color but still stay true to the essence of a smokey eye.

I then lined my inner corners with a white eyeliner, and the rest with a brown eyeliner, and we're set!

If you're like me, I rarely ever dress my doll up in the original clothes my doll started with. But I have only recently come to appreciate the niceness of the outfit my doll came in! Not only are all the parts in the original outfit free, it also can be used for a variety of different outfits! Here are a few I like:

1. The original outfit

This is the outfit that stardoll created for the starter doll. It is a very monochrome outfit by has a lovely splash of colour from the peachy cardigan!

2. The basic outfit

Its a new trend to go with 'basic' outfits, which basically consist of 2 colours- mainly black, white or grey. The top is fully exposed and paired with black ripped jeans and gorgeous heels! A black bow choker was added to fill in space around the neck as well as lovely dangly earrings!

3. The Wild outfit

This is the bling bling, party outfit- full of sequins, glitter and color! A glam 'rock star' jacket is added on top of the top and paired with a bold purple skirt! Iridescent pumps finish the look.

4. The comfy outfit

Created using cotton shorts, the loose top and reliable sneakers this outfit is perfect for just chilling at home or going to the shops! It is definitely simple and comfortable but also very stylish!

Hello everyone! 

For most of us a special time of the year has arrived .Summer Vacations have started. YAY!This is a time of great joy and happiness for everyone especially students,preparing for exams, test or making assignments and much more. For my article today I will state some fun activities to do during these vacations.

1-Spend time with family: 

During our normal school routine we don't get to spend much time with our family. Vacations are the best time to be together with your family spend some memorable time. A family gathering, dinner, going someplace out or organizing a family film festival can really be fun.

2-Go camping in nature:

Going camping somewhere in nature can be really fun especially if done with friends or family. Nature is a healer and can help you heal and can really make you satisfied and happy.

3-Play games: 

Playing games either outdoor or indoor can be fun. Invite some friends over to play with them. Playing with water especially during summer can be refreshing.

4-Write about summer: 

Writing about summer and events that happen to you will definitely make you relax and excited about things that may happen.Try to be creative. Maybe make a scrapbook if you can.

5-Learning new skills: 

During our terms we don't have much time to learn something new. These vacations are the bast time to learn something new like maybe gardening,cooking,painting,sketching etc. Learning new skills will give you happiness and of course new memories will be made.

I absolutely love bucket lists. I have had a bucket list made out since I was 14 and now I am just adding and crossing out ones I have done. I would encourage anyone with dreams to do things in the future to make a list of everything you would like to do in your life. I can honestly say if I didn't make out my list I wouldn't have done half the amount of things on there. I am going to share some of the things I would like to do and have done in my 17 years of life. Enjoy!

Do you love animals?

I bet you do...

Stardoll is a amazing pet-friendly world, and of course for us 'The Animal Lovers'.

I thought about opening a little animal-fun discussion on this day.

I love many pets, including horses and other huge animals.

The dogs are my favorite and they make a huge part of the animals.

As we all know, dogs and cats are the most famous animals on the world.

However, that does not mean that we should like one animal more than the other,

since every animal is special in their own way.

I come here to give you some tips to keep your pets healthy.

-Keep your pet in a healthy weight.

Maintaining a healthy weight takes off the chances of your pet getting a injury, disease, and it also gives your pet a longer life expectancy. I like keeping my pet, puppy, medium in weight which is not so fat, or not so thin.

-Exercise your pet.

Walk with your pet. It is healthy for you and your dog. Walking helps preserve your pet’s muscle tone and joint movement. If your pet is overweight or obese, walking can be a great way to shed some extra pounds. However, remember first Consult your veterinarian before starting any new exercise program with your pet. You need to make sure your pet is healthy enough for the exercise you plan.

-Have your veterinarian examine your pet at least once a year to make sure your pet is healthy and to help detect problems earlier.

This is very important for me and my pet since it also helps them to have a better life, without any risks that I have no idea of.
