Hey everyone!

Stardoll just released the new Callie's Picks collection, called 'Flower Flare'.
It's already the 81st collection from Callie's picks and I have to admit that it's one of my least favourite collections.

The name says it all, flower prints. A lot of flower prints.

Stardoll offers us a lot of clothing with flowers on them, in all colours and shapes you could think off. So they decided to bring some of them back. There was one piece I liked, the classic red flower dress. This dress has a vintage vibe to it I really love.

In my opinion the other items look too shoddy. They look old and are not the kind of vintage that fits my style. Also, the way they combined the items is off. The combination of all the bold items is just too much for me, there's a lot going on and that's not my style. 

But if you are into that kind of clothing, feel free to check it out! You could find something you like ;) There will always be a next collection, so don't worry if you don't find anything.

Not a lot to like about this collection. The mannequins look mostly ok. There's quite a few items in starcoins. The accessories are many and cute. But it only goes down hill from there.

I'm doing this as a list, because... well, I hated a lot.

• Totally unoriginal theme - the'res already been "Pastels In Paris", which had very much the same style and EVEN HAS SOME OF THE SAME ITEMS. Talk about a lazy collection!
• The prices are horrendously high, even with the Royalty discount. I get that many of these are Tribute pieces, but I wouldn't pay that much for the original version, let alone Callie's!
• That hair. It was bad enough the first time around when it didn't fit or flatter, why on earth would we want to see it all over again?
• They used the Exclusive Bicycle. I think the name speaks volumes about the irony of that. 
• So, so, so many ugly shoes.

Hi, dollies!

The new Callie's Picks collection came with an item that, in my opinion, is essential for any fashionista's wardrobe: the Everyday Long Blazer (which is in Starcoins!) I bought this item when it was out on the It Girls store, and seeing it come back to the Starplaza was so cool! I'm so happy for all the dolls who missed the item and who can now buy it.

This blazer is amazingly useful as it perfectly complements any type of outfit. It looks good with short dresses, jeans or skirts, and it makes our outfits look more complete, like a final touch.
